Another essay I agree with.

By Ted Nugent

Zero tolerance, huh? Gun-free zones, huh? Try this on for size: Columbine gun-free zone, New York City pizza shop gun-free zone, Luby's Cafeteria gun-free zone, Amish school in Pennsylvania gun-free zone and now Virginia Tech gun-free zone.

Anybody see what the evil Brady Campaign and other anti-gun cults have created? I personally have zero tolerance for evil and denial. And America had best wake up real fast that the brain-dead celebration of unarmed helplessness will get you killed every time, and I've about had enough of it.Nearly a decade ago, a Springfield, Oregon, high schooler, a hunter familiar with firearms, was able to bring an unfolding rampage to an abrupt end when he identified a gunman attempting to reload his .22-caliber rifle, made the tactical decision to make a move and tackled the shooter.

A few years back, an assistant principal at Pearl High School in Mississippi, which was a gun-free zone, retrieved his legally owned Colt .45 from his car and stopped a Columbine wannabe from continuing his massacre at another school after he had killed two and wounded more at Pearl.

At an eighth-grade school dance in Pennsylvania, a boy fatally shot a teacher and wounded two students before the owner of the dance hall brought the killing to a halt with his own gun. More recently, just a few miles up the road from Virginia Tech, two law school students ran to fetch their legally owned firearm to stop a madman from slaughtering anybody and everybody he pleased. These brave, average, armed citizens neutralized him pronto.

My hero, Dr. Suzanne Gratia Hupp, was not allowed by Texas law to carry her handgun into Luby's Cafeteria that fateful day in 1991, when due to bureaucrat-forced unarmed helplessness she could do nothing tostop satanic George Hennard from killing 23 people and wounding more than 20 others before he shot himself. Hupp was unarmed for no other reason than denial-ridden "feel good" politics. She has since led the charge for concealed weapon upgrade in Texas, where we can now stop evil.

Yet, there are still the mindless puppets of the Brady Campaign and other anti-gun organizations insisting on continuing the gun-free zone insanity by which innocents are forced into unarmed helplessness. Shame on them. Shame on America. Shame on the anti-gunners all. No one was foolish enough to debate Ryder truck regulations or ammonia nitrate restrictions or a "cult of agriculture fertilizer" following the unabashed evil of Timothy McVeigh's heinous crime against America on that fateful day in Oklahoma City.

No one faulted kitchen utensils or other hardware of choice after Jeffrey Dahmer was caught drugging, mutilating, raping, murdering and cannibalizing his victims. Nobody wanted "steak knife control" as they autopsied the dead nurses in Chicago, Illinois, as Richard Speck went on trial for mass murder.Evil is as evil does, and laws disarming guaranteed victims make evil people very, very happy. Shame on us.

Already spineless gun control advocates are squawking like chickens with their tiny-brained heads chopped off, making political hay over this most recent, devastating Virginia Tech massacre, when in fact it is their own forced gun-free zone policy that enabled the unchallenged methodical murder of 32 people.Thirty-two people dead on a U.S. college campus pursuing their American Dream, mowed-down over an extended period of time by a lone, non-American gunman in illegal possession of a firearm on campus in defiance of a zero-tolerance gun law. Feel better yet? Didn't think so.

Who doesn't get this? Who has the audacity to demand unarmed helplessness? Who likes dead good guys? I'll tell you who. People who tramp on the Second Amendment, that's who. People who refuse to accept the self-evident truth that free people have the God-given right to keep and bear arms, to defend themselves and their loved ones. People who are so desperate in their drive to control others, so mindless in their denial that they pretend access to gas causes arson, Ryder trucks and fertilizer cause terrorism, water causes drowning, forks and spoons cause obesity, dialing 911 will somehow save your life, and that their greedy clamoring to "feel good" is more important than admitting that armed citizens are much better equipped to stop evil than unarmed, helpless ones.

Pray for the families of victims everywhere, America. Study the methodology of evil. It has a profile, a system, a preferred environment where victims cannot fight back. Embrace the facts, demand upgrade and be certain that your children's school has a better plan than Virginia Tech or Columbine. Eliminate the insanity of gun-free zones, which will never, ever be gun-free zones. They will only be good guy gun-free zones, and that is a recipe for disaster written in blood on the altar of denial. I, for one, refuse to genuflect there.

RIP President Gerald Ford

In the fall of 1974 I was standing with my Grandmother on the side of the highway near Independence Missouri. She said, "this may be the closest you ever get to seeing a president." Just then, a big black limo zoomed by followed by a small motorcade.

Grandma was right...Never saw another president after that.

Winner of the hammer profile pic contest

JP from Vaginous http://vaginous.wordpress.com/ sent me the winning submission.

You will see my new profile pic on the right side of the screen.

I liked all of them for various reasons and it was really tough to decide. I finally picked this one because it fits the original theme of this blog:

When your only tool is a hammer everything starts looking like a nail...

I want to make a banner out of all the other submissions but my photoshop skills and 1992 software are not up to the task. If anyone wants to put one together I would be much obliged.

Bully tasered in middle school.

I wish I had a taser in middle school.

http://www.heraldonline.com/109/story/9664.html

School officer Tasers sixth grader in Georgia
JONESBORO, Ga. -- A middle school security officer used a Taser on a sixth-grade boy to break up his fight with a girl Wednesday, school officials said.
Officials said the 11-year-old shocked twice with the device at Jonesboro Middle School weighs 200 pounds and refused to obey orders to stop attacking the girl, also 11, and the Taser was used as a last resort to prevent her from being seriously injured. The two had been taken to the office to resolve an argument that started during lunch and spilled into a classroom.

"The male student literally jumped on the girl and started hitting her about the face and head," school district spokesman Charles White said. "He did not comply with directions to stop, and physical efforts to pull him off the girl were unsuccessful."
Both students were treated for injuries, none of them serious, White said. The boy was charged with assault and battery and was taken to a juvenile detention center, and later was released to the custody of his mother.

The officer is a city of Jonesboro police officer who carries the standard equipment of a pistol and a Taser, according to Jonesboro Police Sgt. Brad Johnson.

Deer assault case presents unusual issues
Duluth News Tribune
Last update: November 15, 2006 – 4:21 PM

DULUTH -- Prosecution of a case involving alleged sexual contact with a dead deer may hinge on the legal definition of the word "animal.''
Bryan James Hathaway, 20, of Superior, Wis., faces a misdemeanor charge of sexual gratification with an animal. He is accused of having sex with a dead deer he saw beside a road on Oct. 11.

Not just any old deer, but a dead deer...

A motion filed last week by his attorney, public defender Fredric Anderson, argued that since the deer was dead, it was not considered an animal and the charge should be dismissed. "The statute does not prohibit one from having sex with a carcass,'' Anderson wrote. Judge Michael Lucci heard the motion Tuesday.
"I'm a little surprised this issue hasn't been tackled before in another case,'' Lucci said.

Leave it to an attorney to claim it's not animal rape if it's dead.

The Webster's dictionary defines "animal'' as "any of a kingdom of living beings,'' Anderson said. If you include carcasses in that definition, he said, "you really go down a slippery slope with absurd results.'' Anderson argued: When does a turkey cease to be an animal? When it is dead? When it is wrapped in plastic packaging in the freezer? When it is served, fully cooked? A judge should decide what the Legislature intended "animal'' to mean in the statute, he said. "And the only clear point to draw the line in that definition, I believe, is the point of death.''

I guess the lawyer boinks butterball turkeys and honeybaked hams on Friday nights...

Assistant District Attorney James Boughner said the court can use a dictionary to determine the meaning of the word, but it doesn't have to. "The common and ordinary meaning of a word can be found in how people actually use the word,'' Boughner wrote in his response to the motion. When a person's pet dog dies, he told Lucci, the person still refers to the dog as his or her dog, not a carcass.
"It stays a dog for some time,'' Boughner said. He referred to the criminal complaint, in which Hathaway told police he saw the dead deer in the ditch and moved it into the woods. Hathaway called it a dead deer, Boughner said, not a carcass.

So... Hathaway is driving along and sees a dead deer, and becomes aroused to the prospect of buggering said deer so he drags it off into the woods to have relations with it... simply mind boggling.

"It did not lose its essence as a deer, an animal, when it died,'' he said.
Anderson argued that the statute, which falls under the heading "crimes against sexual morality,'' was meant to protect animals. That would be unnecessary in the case of a dead animal. "If you look at the other crimes that are in this subsection, they all protect against something other than simply things we don't like or things we find disgusting,'' he said. Other crimes in that subsection include incest, bigamy, public fornication and lewd and lascivious behavior.
Boughner said the focus of the statute was on punishing the human behavior, not protecting animals.

I think the guy should be publicly humiliated if that is possible. Going to jail probably isn't the best outcome for dead deer fucker.

"It does not seem to draw a line between the living and the dead,'' he said.
Interpreting the statute to exclude dead animals would also exclude freshly killed animals, Boughner said. That, he said, could lead to people who commit such acts with animals to kill them. Lucci said he would render a decision by Hathaway's next court appearance on Dec. 1. The misdemeanor charge carries a maximum penalty of nine months in jail and a fine of up to $10,000. If convicted, Hathaway could serve a prison term of up to two years because of a previous conviction. In April 2005, Hathaway pleaded no contest to one felony charge of mistreatment of an animal for the shooting death of Bambrick, a 26-year-old horse, to have sex with the animal.

I see...a repeat offender. The guy apparently only gets a stiffy for the dead ones.

I changed my mind. This guy needs to fry. What a sick bastard!

Rest in peace Col. Cooper

Jeff Cooper was one of my boyhood heroes.

His proficiency with the Colt 1911 and his practical application of such inspired me to become the shooter I am today.

His wit and social commentary although sometimes brash was always a welcome respite from these weasly days of political correctness and double talk.

Thank you Mr. Cooper.

Rest in Peace.

Personal marksmanship still remains an essential attribute of any well organized man, as well as a desideratum for such ladies as are so inclined. (Besides, it is fun!)

As these unpleasant people in Iraq keep on potting American soldiers at the rate of about one a day, we have a suggestion for the local command. Let anyone caught in the possession of a rocket propelled grenade (RPG) be pigged on the spot. Not shot, just pigged. That is not even against any stipulation of the Geneva Conference, but I bet it would work. (Being "pigged" is being doused in pig viscera.) ---Jeff Cooper

To fight with the sword may be brutal, but honorable. To fight with a germ is merely disgusting.---Jeff Cooper

I usually have little sympathy for celebrities

I'll make an exception when it comes to Duane Chapman.

Mexican authorities weren't doing jack shit to capture the millionaire rapist playboy Luster in 2003

Hell! The police were probably bought off by the Max Factor heir.

Dog Chapman went in with cunning, skill and years of experience and got the bastard rapist in the blink of an eye.

The Mexican cops got pissed off because dog stepped on their toes and made them look like the corrupt incompetent assholes we all know they are.

Now Mexico is using their extradition treaty to get revenge on Chapman and his family. You cannot make me believe this isn't retribution pure and simple.

Whatever chicken shit judge signed that extradition order should be immediately fired.

Here is more on the story:

Mel Gibson...Better him than me

Many of us have embarassed ourselves after having a few too many drinks.

Sometimes its dancing with a lampshade on your head or telling your bosses wife she has nice tits...
More seriously it can involve drinking and driving, getting arrested at a bar or getting into a sexual liason that you may regret more than your hangover.

Poor Mel is a troubled individual, talented, insanely rich but troubled.

  1. An alcohol high starts off innocently enough as slight relaxation, relief of stress and worry.
  2. After a couple of drinks inhibitions are lowered and you can have a laugh and a good time with friends.
  3. A couple more drinks you may start acting silly and be seriously buzzed with impaired functioning.
  4. After the serious buzz, the higher brain functions start to shut down and all is left is lower brain functions such as sex drive, aggression, anger, which includes lashing out at whatever is on your mind at the time.
  5. After this is the blackout. You may still be walking and talking, fighting and cussing but have no conscious recollection of anything said or done in this state.

Mel Gibson had finished at least 1/3 bottle of Cazador tequila and was probably hovering between 4 and 5 when he was pulled over for going about 90 in a 45.

A drunken tirade about Jews, him owning Malibu, with a fuck da Poh-Leece thrown in for good measure.

Not too much to write home about if it's Joe Sixpack coming home from a bar on a Friday night......

Mel Gibson who came under scrutiny for Passion of the Christ being anti semitic was drunk and mouthy at the wrong place at the wrong time.

The guy can probably kiss his career goodbye for the next few years.

But before you judge Mel too harshly think back to that time in the broom closet at the office Christmas party or the dorm where you got caught with the inflatable sheep or when you woke up face down in your yard with no idea how you got there.

Mel should have got his wild drinking done 20 years ago.

I do indeed feel a bit sorry for him.
