I'm all in favor of Rosie saying whatever she wants... because that's the thing about freedom of speech: If it's going to apply to what I want to hear, it has to apply to what I don't want to hear. But being free to say what you want doesn't exempt you from consequences. Maybe everyone should stop paying attention to her. Don't watch shows she's on. Don't rent her movies. Don't buy a magazine if they have an interview with her, or an ad for a show she's on. And then write to whoever is in charge of what you aren't buying and explain they didn't get your money because of her. Time consuming pain in the ass? Sure. But it's probably better than the ego inflating controversy she's usually rewarded with. There's no "good" or "bad" attention for people like her... ANY attention is good.
The statistics say that there are 65,000-70,000 Iraqi civilians dead. It didn't say who killed them, but my guess is over half of them were killed by insurgents.
Rosie's too stupid to get her facts straight before opening her mouth. I still remember her gun control rant. Then we find out that her children are protected by ARMED bodyguards!
I like her but sometimes I don't know where she gets some of this stuff. It's off the wall.

She's saying it very badly, but I think she wants Americans to realize that others may not view you in the same light as you see yourself. You may, in fact, appear to be intimidating and threatening and harmful and not doing the good you believe you are. Just as the 9/11 terrorists believed they were doing good but you (and others)viewed it as evil. It all depends what side you're on I think.
But she could be an enemy plant too.

While Saddam Hussein was in control in Iraq, hundreds of thousands of it's citizens were executed whilst chemical weapons were used on the Kurds, not a squeak from anyone about the poor innocent victims. Now that Iraqi insurgents are daily bombing their own civilians in an attempt to destabilize the country and force out the U.S. so that the radical Muslims can take control, the bleeding hearts are blaming their own government and calling them terrorists.
