Sometimes its good to leave those rude comments there for the real readers to attack and make look stupid. People who comment with complaints are too dumb to just go somewhere that is not so offensive. Their stupidity shows through in their comments.
Exactly why I have my "disclaimer" posted at the beginning of my blog. If ya doesn't like it, leave it. That's too simple for some folk I guess.
I've actually stopped going to a blog because every time I left a comment, some asshole, the same one every time, would criticize and cajole and want me to post 'facts' to back up my opinion. WTF?
And he would post tons of shit to try to justify his fucked up ideas. The guy actually stated to me that he considered that blog, mind you it wasn't his, he was just a commenter too, but it was his "window for the exchange of ideas in the political world". I thought that was a pretty sad comment and he was just annoying, so I stopped reading the blog.
I'm with you. My blog is for MY amusement and therapy. I welcome comments but keep it civil.
Sorry I went on so, but I hate those who comment only to spew their dissension and start an argument. My blog, my views, period.

JP: I did that for a while but it didn't seem to help much. I've also been getting Emails from nice folks telling me that they like my blog but certain commenters were following them to their blogs and trolling them too.
DanO:looks like we have that in common. I stopped going to certain blogs after my comments were atacked by the same troll over and over. That's one of the reasons for this post. thanks for the vote of confidence :)

Would it be immature to suggest that you find a way to encourage all your readers to visit the moron's site and fill up the comment section with random, idiodic and/or inappropriate comments? Of course it would, and it would falsely increase his/her traffic, so I guess you are wiser and more mature than me.

After a year, I think my asshat troll has finally given up. I've had TWO WHOLE DAYS without having to delete any abusive comments!
BTW, it's a new moon. My troll always got worse during full and new moons. Anybody have a silver bullet? ;)
