Blog problems

My blog feeds bit the dust again. I'm going to have to try some other program for tracking all the blogs I read.

Sorry if I haven't commented in a couple days, this damn thing is only showing about 20% of the new posts.

I don't understand why it only breaks part way. It always takes me a while to figure out why new posts aren't showing up for certain blogs.

Technology is a love hate thing with me.

Once I get this thing fixed I'll make the rounds and see what you all have been up to.

Update: I've added about 70 blogs to my side bar links. I tried to get everyone but If I missed you please let me know.

Here's a quick funny:

You didn't miss me, but I missed you. Haha, trying to be clever here. Missed reading your stuff, will be back soon to a normal attendance, in the meantime still making the best of this shitty wet summer. Hope your blog problems get fixed soon. Take care.

I check out new posts the low-tech way-alphabetically down my blogroll. I guess when people have as big a blogroll as you have, you need something to tell you when there are new posts.

When mine acts up, I pick one and right click refresh...then it gets going again.

new to your blog- just thought I'd say "hilare" to your replacement of how many have commented to "have decided to add a pithy quip" because thats totally what people do!

I hear ya ham~~ I tried the "feed" deal awhile back.. I too have gone to low tech. I have a folder in my favorites just for blogs. Save the ones I like reading daily there...As soon as my dial-up loads the clip~~ I am SURE I will laff!

My feed reader does the same thing to me and then a week will go by before I realize I haven't seen an update for someone.

...and yeah. I've wondered why it only partially breaks down instead of breaking all the way down.

I sympathise with your techy difficulties [well, only a little bit as at least you have the skills to sort them out] But I fully sympathise with the frustration that goes along with it.
Have a great weekend.
cheers

la cremiere: Thanks, worked on typing in all 180 blogs again last night, I'm crossing my fingers :)

snowmanpoop: I'm going to try to import mine into firefox.

beast: feeds are generated by that litle orange button on the top of your browser, it adds sights to a seperate favorites list that shows when there is a new update.

mushy: I'm looking into that too. I don't want to add them all manually again though.

canadian: thanks! I got you added.

Janet: I wouldn't be able to visit half the blogs I do without using feeds.

jeannie: I tried that and it just did nothing, I'm thinking that whaen a blog updates to a feed type that Internet Explorer can't view, it blocks all the rest as well.

lisa: thanks for stopping by and leaving a pithy quip :)

Cheesy: I may have to go back to smoke signals ;)

Queen: I did some research but trouble shooting is not a strong point of blogging software.

mcewen: thanks, I'll get this licked eventually :)

that video is a pisser...loved it!

Good luck with the feed issues. I don't have enough of a blogroll to use it, but I'm sure with your list, it could be a real hassle to get half assed updates...
