I’ve never used a Moog alignment machine Hammer, I don’t recall even having seen one. My favorite alignment machines are Hunter Visualliners. Ever seen one of the old ones that looked kind of like old outboard motors that rolled back and forth on tube tracks and mirrors mounted on the wheels? A little cumbersome at times but I could check and calibrate it myself and dial in alignments to a gnats ass. I loved that old machine.

Had to figure out how to do four wheel alignments on it as newer suspension systems came along but it was doable. I’m not sure I trust the newer Hunters, I’ve used a few of them, never trust a computer that tells you it is working okay. LOL

I once worked with a new Bear electronic machine and hated the son of a bitch. Didn’t trust it, don’t really trust any of the new machines, they are computerized and are ‘self calibrating’, no real way for me to really check how accurate they are other than to check the readings against old equipment. And I couldn’t trust them to read a sixteenth of a degree or a sixteenth of an inch, they are too lax in what they report on screen. I still have an old bubble gauge that I trust more than them. And I still do my own alignments when I need to. A bubble gauge (or a couple of cheap laser lights), a tape measure and homemade wheel mounts is all you need to do a good alignment.

I stopped doing them when shop owners started wanting me to do a two hour job in one. I’m standing in a shop one day after working for the man for a day and a half and I’m fussing with myself because I couldn’t do the good job I wanted to do because he was pressuring me to get done and he is standing there telling the customer what a fine job I did for him. When the customer left I went up to him and told him that I was done working for him, I didn’t even want paid for the day and a half. Fuck people like that.

But I’ve installed a lot of Moog part’s damn fine parts. It’s maybe better that you didn’t stay in alignments, you may be making more money now, but I’ve never done anything for the money, I do things because they interest me. Happy journeys friend.

Ooops! LOL That's a classic for sure. You can find some dang good ones.

I read an article yesterday where an 84 year old woman was at a gas station and filling up her car. A would be theif armed with a knife got soaked by that old woman with gasoline in the face. She turned the nozzle on him...

He ran away as fast as he could with face feeling on fire from the fuel. Lady unharmed.

Kinda reminded me of that. The police caught him a bit later. So that video is highly possible.
