Hammer's Jackpot meme
I've grown weary of the same old meme's floating around so I thought I would make one of my own. The basic premise is:
You just won the mega powerball jackpot to the tune of 150 million dollars (after taxes)
1. What would be the very first thing you would do? Pay off all my debts.
2. Where would you choose to live? I would move to a ranch in the country.
3. What kind of house would you live in? Two story 6 bedroom farmhouse with a large detached garage and workshop.
4. What kind of car would you buy? 1961 Chrysler 300
5. Where would you vacation? I would travel the U.S. in a deluxe motor home.
6. Would you have anything on your body fixed? Probably not.
7. What kind of hobbies would you engage in? I would build a large shooting range and a fully functional garage to restore old cars.
8. What charities would you donate to? Second Amendment causes and legal defense funds for those railroaded by the govt for procedural crimes. I would start a very low interest micro loan program for those who wanted to start their own small business.
9. Would you give money to your relatives? Hell fuck no... maybe in an iron clad trust fund that could not be raided or abused and there would be an accountant that would review and approve or veto any and all purchases by the beneficiary...my family is full of weak minded fools and spendthrifts.
10.Would you run away from your current life? Nope.
11. Would you continue to work? I might start a business dealing with antiques and historical artifacts.
12. Would the money change you in any way? It would make me participate in the outside world more.

Good meme! It's nice to see something new for a change. Love your answers, especially the one about touring the U.S. in an RV. I've always wanted to do that.

I don't do meme's but this one interests me.
I don't usually do memes -don't usually like most of 'em -but this one struck a chord with me and I just put up a post with this meme and I linked it back to you. (made linking it back to you -and to me -part of my requirements or yours you could say.
You'll see a lot of similarities in some of my answers to yours too, I'm sure -especially the RV thing as I've always said that would be what I would buy after paying off my bills!

we've travelled the western portion of the u.s. with a NOT so deluxe m/h and a very nice small fifth wheel - i long for those days and my husband and i talk about doing it again when the children are in college.
i would move back to my mountain and finish building the cabin - put in a well and build nancpop a very large woodshop.
we talk about getting harley's when we're retired...talk about...
the only way we'd give anybody in my family money is if they first went into an extensive counselling program and came out with flying colors!
It's funny but this is the exact conversation my wife and I have every couple of weeks when we think to buy a ticket. We call it our $1 fantasy. What if money was no object.
I think travel would be number one, a house in the Carribean would be next. Charities would be Diabetes related (my stepdaughter is type 1).
I can't even imagine winning a huge amount of money. If it was that much though, I would probably gift the family generously. Screw the charities - I'd make my own foundation up or research the available ones for something sensible.
Couldn't care less about what I drive.
I suppose I'd buy a place on the edge of town - lots of property but not so big a house - I don't want to have to clean something huge and there's just something icky about having a cleaning lady but maybe I'd change my mind about that.
I'd fly all over the world.

Just a little sneak preview to what mine would say? I would be as plastic as Barbie if I had the money. I have so many issues that my issues have issues. Dr. Cutandpaste would be on Spead dial.
And THEN, I would go to my High School reunion. :)

Man, that's the coolest meme I've seen in a while. The only things I'd change from your answers would be the car. I'd probably collect a few old muscle cars, and a few old tanks. And hell no, my sister wouldn't get a farthing. Bitch!
