Some questions that just aren't asked.
I've got some questions that seem to be avoided by most people...either because they don't think of them or they are afraid to ask. This is why I think kid's are great, They aren't afraid to question what is going on around them. (Then get shushed by their parents).
Why is it perfectly acceptable for a black person to say he is supporting a candidate because he is black but if a white person said he was going to support a white candidate he would be burned in effigy, be called a racist and face public scorn.
Why do women get breast implants? They look ridiculous, the scars are horrific, and the nipples don't work anymore. Why on earth would a real man insist or request that his girlfriend, spouse or daughter go under the knife for something so meaningless and destructive?
Why do we pretend that people leaving a bar at 2:00am are ok to drive. Is it just ok if you make it home in one piece? Why don't the cops camp out in front of a night club and arrest everyone that comes out for public intoxication or wait 30 seconds and get them for DUI?
Why is it the political left is so busy defending Muslims and their beliefs when these same Muslims if given half a chance would behead or stand by and watch a Muslim government execute every last one of them for adultery, homosexuality and other various crimes against allah.
Why do the Japanese continue to deny their role as an aggressor in WWII? Why are Japanese students only taught that America dropped an atomic bomb as a senseless act of aggression?
Why do we censor our exported movies and TV programs to cater to this denial of the atrocities committed by imperial Japan?
I guess I'll keep on wondering.

My wife told me that nowadays the Japanese kids are being taught that it was actually the Russians that dropped the Atomic Bombs. They still have a quarrel with the Russians over those three or four islands above Hokkaido that the Russians took from them after WW2. Seriously.
I have many of the same questions, especially the double-standard on racism, on ignorant people who defend Muslims who would as soon kill them in their beds, and the craziest of all to me is the breast implants. If someone's had cancer, I can understand it, then, but otherwise, jeez...

As for what the Japanese are learning in school....Canadian and American history books tell a few contradictory tales as well. But as they use to say on x-files (and still do in re-runs and run away signals in space) The truth is out there.
We never hear the "real" story from the media or government. There is always a spin. "WE" are never the bad guys even if we are. Because "WE" are justified in doing whatever we do while "THEY" are evil. That's just the way it is.
It's just that kind of world, and it has been for a long time. That's why I moved way up into the mountains as far as I could get, thinking I could get away from it. But you really can't.
paul: I had heard something like that but now you confirmed it. It's friggin crazy.
phlegmy: I can understand repairing after a mastectomy or other disfigurment but I hear they actually use some of the stomach muscles and fat to do the repair.
jeannie: You are so right. Our textbooks get the basics vaguely right but recently a group of scholars found 143 factual errors in one 8th grade history book. Carelessness or conspiracy?

Al Sharpton says while we were still living in caves blacks were designing and building pyramids! And now the entire race thinks they were the original Egyptians! I guess that's why they still live in mud huts and bathe under urinating cattle in Africa. Reality has no bearing on the beliefs of the simple negro mind.

Our cops did park outside the bars at closing time and arrested the obvious drunks. The court threw out EVERY case, saying it was harassment! :(

any woman who has results like that had a BAD PLASTIC surgeon.
I have breast implants and they are the BEST thing I have ever done for myself.
Although in my case it was more for corrective reasons rather than 'elective' reasons.
Good questions that I'd certainly like to see answered in a prominent venue. Of course, any prominent person would simply give their canned, biased response that reeks of whatever their political leanings are.

My mom had it done too for reconstructive reasons but I do understand that surgeons that do corrective surgeries do a much much better job than the 5 grand double D tit slashers I've heard nightmarish tales of. Careful - you may get a sting just from memtioning the obvious (and often pondered) racial issue. ;p I get pretty peeved about this on a regular basis while watching the news.

Believe it or not, Hammer, when I used to go out partying with friends, when we had a DD, that person did NOT drink the entire evening. And we all took turns doing it and we stuck to it.
When I was the designated driver, it was diet coke for the night. Not only did I have an obligation and a responsibility, but I wanted to go home ALIVE!
Damn Japs, should have used the third bomb.

I think anyone who wants a breast augmentation should have to lug around the DDD boobs God gave me...trust me, after a few weeks they would be grateful for what they have and NOT want more...lmao.
Regarding Japan (and our own history books) - everyone involved has a vested interest in ensuring the kids are patriotic and always loyal to their country and government, and if that comes at the expense of being able to think, so be it. (And people wonder why I snuck Lies My Teacher Told Me into class as a kid.)
As for cosmetic surgery, it relates back to porn, I think. Women want to measure up to this impossible figure the men in their lives find sexy. (You wouldn't believe some of the surgeries out there in the name of looking good.) It's also a status thing - having
round-as-a-plate, impossibly uppity breasts shows off that you were wealthy enough to have something done on a whim. The scary thing I find about these surgeries and shows like Extreme Makeover is that all of those women come out virtually the same - you have to look hard to see any difference. Stepford Wives, anyone?

I don't want to brag, but in France, there is cops in night clubs parking lot and check whether the young people are able to drive or not.
I knew about the Japonese not learning the truth, I didn't know that America had to censor their movies to cater to this denial. I can't believe it.

Great questions. I think the thing about white pride being a problem comes from our history. Same reason we kinda flich when a German or Japanese person gets nationalistic. It's because of what they've done with it in the past. of course, ethnic pride is perfectly cool, so long as you're proud of being hyphenated. My problem is all my ancestors came here so long ago they've mixed and mingled to the point where I see myself as just a white guy. Ok, white southern guy from Texas. People say "You mean you're proud of the ancestors who had slaves, or killed Indians for the land, etc., etc., etc., And I say "Fuckin' A buddy! Those folks built this country. It's the hyphenated bastards that are tearin' it down."
I figure your questions about the drunks and the cops as well as the Japanese can be answered with just one word...MONEY

I always wondered that about the bars at 2am and why the cops didnt just watch people leave, drunk and follow them. Taxes would go down in my town because they would clean up financially for fines! Heh.\
I was at a raging Christmas party the other night, it was from 6-10. Like old people, we ate, drank and were home by 9. It was awesome. No drunky-2am for me!

It's sad that the politically correct crowd try to make America the bad guy in every situation. All of these are the kinds of things I wonder about but don't even know who to ask.

The cops and bars run into issues of 'entrapment,' from what I understand.
I'd like to know why we, as Americans, think that it is great to go to Walmart & the Dollar Store to save money, yet we think the government should be protecting us from the toxins coming in from half these products? Or why someone making 35k a year will gladly have a car payment of 450 a month & yet gripe about having to pay in 200 a month towards their family plan(health ins)?
I have noticed the race-card thing on politics getting applied to gender w/ Hillary. Many folks will admit that they would vote for her just because she is a woman...
