Evolution of my blog meme
I have been tagged by Lexcen to list five posts that chart the evolution of my blog.
Since I've recently been going back through some old posts and thinking..."who the hell wrote that crazy shit?" I figure it might be an interesting little project.
I think I started things off with quite a few rants like this one

Ranting is sometimes considered the lowest form of blogging but damnit, it makes me feel better.
Soon I moved to stories from my childhood.

So many weird and disturbing things went on in my youth, I went on with these stories for a good long while.
Then I figured that it might be good to try to share some of the things I've learned in life so I wrote some posts giving advice.

I never thought I'd love a Hammer so much that it would be nearly impossible to get through the day without having it nail every post so well!!!

My favorite posts are the family funnies...when you talk about the day-to-day things. Hilarious!
I have to say in MN we did ours in 5th grade.But still. I remember feeling like oh gosh we have to do this talk with the boys in the class until they told us girls to stand up and the nurse would take us to another classroom.
I grew up going to gun shows with my Dad, but I haven't been to one in 15 years. They were great stuff when I was a boy and a teen and even young adult. Like you said, the old-timers, the former law officers rocked. Plus, my Dad spoke fluent gunshowese and had a firearms license and I invariably had a blast.
I even bought a neat old camera at one from a guy. My Dad and he were talking guns, and the only non-gun item on his two tables was an old 35mm camera he had marked for what I knew to be a good price. My Dad bought it and I paid him back when we got home. (I hadn't carried any money, I was only 14 and wasn't planning to buy anything).
I also had to read the chocolate tallywhacker story. I mean, tallywhacker is what we always called it, and no one seems to say that anymore so I HAD to go read that.
