Sorry I've been gone so long
Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes. I've had some difficult stuff going on and it's been tough for me to get back into blogging. I won't bore you with my issues. But I do intend to get back into the swing of things.
I'm touched that so many folks have been concerned about my absence.

You haven't missed much at my blog, as I've been plagued by "difficult stuff" too. :(
Good to hear that you're doing OK. I care about what happens to all the cool people I've met here (even if they're Republican--ha ha ha!).
Bore us? Pfft! If it's not the time to talk about it, we won't push you. But, please... don't ever think you'd be boring us. Your way of making even the most miserable, mundane things sound interesting and entertaining just from the way you tell a story is a big reason your blog thrives. So don't do the polite modesty thing of, "I won't bore you with it..." Just go ahead and say, "It's not the time for talking about it, so I won't."
Now, if you do find yourself wanting or being able to talk about it, you know you've got a ton of shoulders to cry on. You've certainly been a friend enough times that'd it'd just be wrong if there was no one to be a friend to you.
It's just not the same without the Hammer!
We're just glad to hear that you're ok; get back to us when you get the time.
