Big week sorry for lack of posts

I haven't been blogging this week as you may have noticed.

Just a mild case of burnout.

Oldest daughter had another dental surgery yesterday, another 5 teeth extracted. The Dentist says he's playing musical chairs trying to make room for her adult teeth,

My son got a new set of braces and changed ADHD medications this week he's doing ok but seems a bit disconcerted and moody.

Seems I'm allergic to certain people now. Every time I go out in public and a person gets near me, my eyes swell up and I start coughing and sneezing. I really don't like people to begin with so it's really not surprising that they make me physically ill as well.

Easter was interesting. The whole family was there at my mother in laws acting normal. I'm not angry at them anymore, but now there is a role reversal. My wife can't stand her family and I'm actually not bothered by them. Can't say I'm surprised, after being estranged from her siblings for 3 years she has figured that she doesn't need them.

I'm trying to get out of my blogging funk so bear with me.

Here's a funny

Hairspray and certain colognes make me sneeze too. I can always tell when a man is wearing Russian Leather cologne, as I start sneezing and my eyes start watering. :(

I don't know why people have to take a bath in cologne. It's bad enough we're in pollen season without them adding to the misery.

Hope your daughter feels OK and your son adjusts to the meds.

Hai. Missed you, bye.

Sorry, a little cheezburger humor. Not funny?

Okay, I'll stop.

I find it easy to get burned out blogging. Sometimes I get hard on myself cuz I feel like I'm losing my clever and find it strange that I have nothing to say. Me? Have nothing to say? Happens to the best of us.

Glad Easter was easy for ya. Welcome back. :)

Hammer,

Welcome Back. Thanks for the vid..you made me laugh.

I don't really know what is going on but many of the bloggers out there are off the schedule for some reason. I guess we are all burning out at the same time.

Sorry to here about the kids. Man, that must be tough going.

I am also glad I communicate with you via the blogs. I don't think I can take the rejection of you sneezing on me because you were allergic to me.

I feel for your daughter. I have been in her shoes. Lots of soup and jello!

AHHHH ADHD medications. ~pats back~ I know that too...As a teacher, when we have kids change meds or they don't work anymore it can be so disruptive!

Keep working with the DR. One of my students had issues, until my pushing led Mom to take the kiddo to DR..turns out meds needed changing!! Now he is the A student!

*hugs*

I'm off to the dentist AGAIN today so I can feel for your daughter. Altho that's alot of work, she'll thank you both years from now with big beautiful smiles! :)
I haven't been blogging long enough to get the burnout but that's probably because I don't have anything too interesting to say in the first place. LOL
When the funk is done you'll have plenty of people still here waiting.

Have a happy weekend! :)

Good for you for moving on from that family rancor. Your wife will get there, too. Petty, nasty people love nothing more than to drag other people into their bag of bullshit drama.

Love the hell out of that video. Isn't it amazing how much more attractive Hils looks in those vids???

Poor daughter, hope she gets through it with minimal or no pain. That must be really trying for all of you.

Also in a case of funk here..must be spring?

Glad you were able to rise above the petty stuff. Annoying big time, isn't it? Sheesh, you'd think holidays were supposed to be fun or something...

Hope you're in a better mood. Maybe you are allergic to the people's cologne or perfume. I have a really sharp sense of smell so if someone has bathed in perfume it is very irritating.

I'm just glad to see you posting at all.

We all get in a funk sometimes, and those of us that suck it up are rewarded with the funk going away...others just give up and turn into the crazy cat lady on the Simpsons.

It's a great thing when you reach a stage where annoying people don't get to you anymore... Pleased to hear that; and for your wife, now it's likely she won't expect you to see them very often.

Are your daughter's teeth not falling by themselves? She's missing out on the Tooth Fairy!

Classic example of selective memory. As with everything else (FDR ended the depression, JFK and RFK gave us Civil Rights, etc), most of what they believe is made up crap that sounds good. Shouldn't surprise anyone.

A break is good, but it does appear that you've got your priorities in hand: your family, yourself, and your blog.

Just glad to see posts, so please don't fret about visiting...sometimes it takes a while for the winter blahs to leave and to realize Spring is here.

You know, I take care of my paralyzed dad and those other people with whom I share blood...siblings you call them? They're just annoying drunk back seat drivers that kick me in the back of the head as I am TRYING to get them where they need to be.

I found life is MUCH easier and less expensive financially and emotionally without em.

I added you to my blog roll, hope you don't mind!

I hear you Hammer. My blog posting has been pathetic lately. I'd love to tell you that Spring has sprung and I have so much to do, but I'd be lying.

I just haven't felt like it, and I haven't been inspired, so I haven't posted much either.

Hang in there, Dude.

We're facing dental surgery in our near future. I'm not looking forward to it. I dare say my little guy is even less enthusiastic about it. If that's even possible.
