Meme... why I blog
Katey tagged me to list the 5 reasons why I blog.
1. Actual person to person relationships have become really annoying and very disheartening.
2. I like telling stories and getting the cobwebs out of my mind.
3. I like making people laugh and sometimes think
4. I need to rant every so often so my brain doesn't explode and make a mess.
5. No matter how polite or rational I tried to be on the message boards, bulletin boards and Usenet discussion groups, trolls loved to call me a AmeriKKKan and neocon fucktard. I figured my own blog would help keep that stuff out.

LOL, hammer I'm with ya on one through four. I missed five, as I haven't done the message board / chatroom / my space thing.
Nonetheless...I'm glad you're here & that you don't mind us barging in on your cobwebs & exploding mind ;)
Has #5 worked?
Okay get out of my head!!! Those would be alot of my reasons. hehehee
Excellent reasons.
Well I'm certainly glad none of those other things worked for you. Good answers.
You mean we are not allowed to call you fucktard? LOL kidding kidding
Most of those sound like me.
skinny: You're lucky you missed those.
malnurtured: to a point, if someone is just starting trouble I've started deleting.
burfica: I figured others would feel the same :)
FHB: thanks, I'm not trying to change the world like in my younger days ;)
kat: thanks, me too.
snowmanpoop: you had better smile when you say that pardner ;)
bobg: I'm sure there are more reasons but the top 5 should cover 90% of it :)
I'm with you on 1,3 & 5. Actually MrsJoseGoldbloom is a carryover from when I used to do the USA today message boards. I chose it because there were some anti-Jewish people on there that ticked me off. Needless to say I had fun annoying the hell out of them...oh yes those were the days. :)
My reasons also!
As for #5, yeah! Those all also seem to attract the most annoying, pretentious, and obnoxious of the online world.
Generally bloggers are of a whole different breed.
Hammer....I kid because I love
I Blog to keep the action in my keyboard springy...
mrsjosegoldbloom: I was always a target on the gun boards, I couldn't say boo, bush or bullet without some eurotrash giving me grief.
chris: I agree totally. When people have their own blog they seem to throw fewer rocks.
snowmanpoop: Don't we all :)
Phosgene: I finally had to retire the 20 year old packard bell keyboard I bought from my korean neighbors garage sale. I still look for the little house with the car on the roof for "F"
Don't you ever shut the fuck up? You sound like like me, God. You just never shut the fuck up even when you want to. That makes you part of the collective consciousness of God.
LOL
Ah hell, maybe you will get that statement, and maybe you won't.
BBC: sniff..that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me :D
#3 is why I read you!!
Yep, and I'm glad you do. =)
You're my kind of guy! I'm not much of a people person either.
tshsmom & kb : thanks :)
Good reasons Hammer! I can relate to 1 through 4. The 5th one made me chuckle. I haven't experienced that one before, but perhaps that's because I only post on message boards I own, lol.
I read because I love stories. And you do make me laugh. Even hubby when you have a good video. LOL.. He isnt into blogging but when I show him a video he thinks its neat. But he still doesnt want his own blog. He doesnt the see the point in it. But that is his opinion.
Good stuff. I like no. 4 and combined with no.3 makes you a real cool entertainer.
I kind of understand No.1 still haven't found my friend soulmate. you guys do just the trick. ;)
They called you that? Bastards! Let me at em. Let me at em.
I am with you on 1. I'm too damn shy but I appear to be different on my blog.
groovy: you are indeed fortunate to not have experienced #5
Tweety: thanks! I'll keep making the videos then :)
cremiere: that is very nice of you to say :)
carrie: the two online things that get me are "fucktard and ... the dots are the worst.
well, whatever reason keeps you blogging - I'm so glad you do.
