Americans are pissed off.

I didn't get to go to a Tea party, I had to watch the kids. I did however, follow several via the Internet. Good stuff. I was glad to see people are just as pissed off at both parties for not representing the people.
.........
Some people don't get it. The tea parties were not about taxes. They are about our tax money being spent foolishly.

We the People are pissed about:

...Congress voting themselves a $93,000 per year raise tacked onto the stimulus.

Most American families don't even make the amount of the raise. Congress critters get that added to their already bloated salary (for life) along with free medical.
Ever read Orwell's Animal Farm? The Pigs are in congress.

....Janet Nappolitano Calling anyone in the military, anyone who is concerned about gun control, illegal immigration and the credentials of president Obama, a potential violent racist right wing extremist.

...the NSA spying on Americans, recording our emails, telephone calls and Internet activity without any real reason or suspicion of illegal activity.

...Congress proposes a multi Trillion dollar budget with 900 line items of pork that have nothing to do with running the government or fixing the economy.

...We are pissed because Obama said that he would not raise taxes for people who make under $250K per year. After the election congress said well maybe $175,000 then they said definitely $100,000 now they are lowering it to $75,000.

...Republicans and Democrats are both doing a piss poor job of guiding this country and are too busy interviewing baseball players about steroids than paying attention to the economy.

... In July, Rep Barney Frank and others testified that mortgage lenders were basically sound and there was no crisis. A blatant lie which ended up blindsiding this country into near financial ruin.

I'm pissed off at the main stream media calling tea party protests.."teabagging" There were thousands of individual tea parties yesterday.. all non violent. The larger cities had crowds in the tens of thousands. Does CNN call liberal protests "ass spelunking" on national television? I didn't think so.

Thank you Hammer! You and I have some similar blog reads - ones with far more liberal leanings - and I was quite surprised at how the word HYPOCRITE and RACIST were tossed around referring to those now questioning the Obama administration. We can't just disagree with the policies - noooo ... we don't like him because he is black. If that's not racism (on their part) I don't know what is!

I was drinking tea yesterday while doing my taxes - paying the salaries of congressmen/women and owing the Federal government for that "advance" they gave me on my refund that they called a stimulus package.

This isn't about Obama - it's about crappy government!

WOOO HOOO Hammer!!!

And ya know what Hammer? I'll bet the areas in which the tea parties were held were left much cleaner than that of most left-wing protest sites.

I'm hoping the silent majority is just sitting back and listening to all the garbage and getting angrier and angrier...

the name calling is getting totally ridiculous.

Holy Crap, thanks for laying it out there like that. Now I am pissed because some of that I wasn't even aware of. I haven't watched any news lately because it raises my blood pressure through the roof. Your blog post has just succeeded in achieving the same result. DAMN! And if one more person mentions the word Racist for those who don't like Obama's POLICIES, I am going to lose my mind. Talk about trying to shut us down with one word. It's the only thing that they can say that has the ability to make people hear nothing else that is said beyond that once they put it out there. Grrrr!

The media is trying to make this a partisan thing, it's not. Then they said it's about people not wanting to pay taxes...WRONG again. The tea parties were about citizens who are sick to death of the way their tax dollars are spent.

Does the media know the dirty definition of teabagging? I am sure Congress does!

Its that smugness and air of superiority that the MSM,and BO supporters have, thats so infuriating. They seem to view the people who are fed up with paying taxes, losing jobs to illegals, being lied to, and threatened over fighting for their rights,as third class, ignorant serfs,to be made fun of or scorned.Makes me want to jack slap the shit outta them. And I have no confidence in the leadership of this country,Dem or Rep,from the lowest member, to the top,to possess the balls or brains,to find a solution for this disaster.

CNN and all the other liberal idiots are upset because they got left out of this party. It got started, became huge, and enjoyed a life of its own, totally outside of their influence and without their input. They were impotent. Even when they tried to make themselves part of the story, they failed.

And they wonder why newspapers are folding. Now the TV news outlets see they're next to fail. They're so in the tank, and people are sick of it.

We done had a protest, and failed to invite them. The nerve of us! They'll get even, so they think. The trouble is, we don't hate them, we just don't care. That's the worst thing for them. Nothing hurts a narcissist like ignoring him.

AMEN Hammer! The protesting libs in this country could learn a lesson from this. I didn't make it to one either, but I would put good money down that there wasn't a shitload of trash left at the scene(s) either.

Ya know? The endless plastic water bottles and the other garbage left at every liberal protest scene across the nation led by those who supposedly "care about the environment"?

Forevermore I shall refer to any liberal gathering as "ass spelunking". Thanks Hammer, that fits perfectly!

The U.S. is in bad shape. It's taken a lot of b.s. and a lot of time to get it there, and now we are unfortunately dealing with the repercussions.

"Animal Farm", another frightening book that is becoming reality. Sigh...

I've read a few liberal blogs that act as if the Tea Parties are about abolishing the IRS. Dumb, dumb, dumb. And they made it seem that only semi-domestic terrorists are involved.

And they're the ones laughing at us?
