Small mishap
I was moving brush and debris at my dad's house and ended up ripping off the fingernail on my right index finger and spraining my thumb. Typing isn't going too well, so posting will be light.
I'll be reading everyones blogs but not saying much :)

i took my pinky, booger-gitter off this weekend past right down to the quick! painful and now i'm all plugged up...
my nails are extremely hard and do not bend in any situation so are not apt to have any give.

Sorry to hear about your grandma. I can't comment all the time because I mostly read your blog on my phone (one of the few I can read). That finger sounds like it hurts...OUCH!
I hit my index finger with a hammer once so hard the nail eventually came off in a couple of days, and soon thereafter a new one grew in to replace it. It was all shiny and light pink, like a baby's. Watching the body heal and regenerate is quite fascinating. Hope you have the same good luck.
