Chula the choodle

Thanks to http://www.hellinahandbasket.net/ for the poster!

My son abducted this dog from the pack at my dad's place a few years back. I've been told that she is the ugliest thing they've ever seen. I think she's just unique. Poodle Chiuahua, heck thats two strikes against you before you even get started.

This is a smart dog. She plays catch with herself and sneaks one piece of candy out of the dish at a time thinking I won't notice.

Marvin, who I've written about previously is trying to look sneaky in this pic.

Ohhh...They are only soo cute.
My dog is a mix breed of something I don't even know, but he is a small hero and so kind to other animals. Both to cats, dogs and birds. Unbelievable...

Carrie: Thanks I think so too.

Kirsten: You'll have to tell us about him.

I've never had a chiuahua, but we have four little poodles. They're always ready to play. Poodles love sweets, too. And they're too smart for their own good sometimes. Chula looks like a character. Marvin looks like he's up to something. Bet they're funny. Ours keep us in stitches, and when I'm on the way home in the evenings, I look forward to them going nuts at my arrival, while Lovely Wife tries to get all Cesar Milan on them and keep them quiet. She always looses.

Great pic.

Also, that was a wonderful story about your Uncle Frank. Why is it that the people who are so broke they can't even pay attention can be the most generous ones you meet?

I think your choodle looks perfect. I love a little bit of scruff - it adds character. And a cross is a healthier choice too. I want one.

What a great pair of dogs! I'm so glad you posted a picture, I wouldn't have imagined this is what you get with a poo and a chi!

I know the feeling of having a smart dog. I have two - one "grand old lady" who acts like the eccentric aunt of every family, and one who's mostly applied her smarts to stealing food, mostly by jumping on the table (and she's not a teacup dog) and prying open the fridge door.

I like the scruffy one better, but the dachshund looks like he's about to play a joke on her.

Now that I know what a Chi-Poodle mix looks like, I can die a fulfilled person! She kind of looks like Toto from The Wizard of Oz! I bet she couldn't fit in Dorothy's basket though!!!
