I guess I'm a big nerdy kid at heart. Something tells me that I was cartoon deprived as a child because I can't get enough of them now. Adult swim is about the perfect match for my personality.

Pee Wee's Playhouse: I didn't catch all those double entendres that show had 20 years ago. Lawrence Fishburne as a sexually ambiguous cowboy and Phil Hartman as a Salty sailor round out the cast.
Good stuff for a tired and cynical mind.
I also like Spongebob, Fairly odd parents and Jimmy Neutron. There is an underlying intelligence to these shows and it is comforting to take a break from shit getting blown up and people bumping uglies all over the place.
Science shows about deep space, shipwrecks and mummies also keep my attention.
One of my favorite History Channel shows is Tales of the gun. Great history with interviews from all the top gun guys.
I still hate MacGuyver he is a pacifist anti gun propaganda spouting freak.
A couple of new shows have caught my attention..

I really hate to go on and on about the idiot box but if you are goin to watch it make sure you get something out of it.

If that's the criteria for hating MacGuyver, I think you may actually hate Richard Dean Anderson.
If the History Channel (AKA "The Hitler Channel") shows all Hitler all the time, does History Channel International show all France surrendering to Hitler all the time?
The History Channel is one of my favorites also, but so is the SciFi Channel.
Errm Yes. Come to think of it. Watching France surrender about 15 times a month gives me a sense of smug satisfaction.
I LOVE Boston Legal, One of the best shows out right now. Funny, witty, irreverant (?) and hits both sides of whatever hot button it wants without any apologies. Just damn good TV.
MacGyver, I loved that show, not because he was a pacifist, but because he was creative. As for his stance on guns, he sure as hell made enough of them outta whatever was handy, along with bombs, grenades, rocket launchers, etc. I think he was more against guns in the hands of idiots who are unable to keep their "booger hook off of the bang switch" until the appropriate time. And I doubt Richard Dean Anderson is that much of a pacifist, have you seen Stargate SG-1?
My new favorite is Eureka. Colin Ferguson plays the part spot on.
