ELK GROVE, Calif. — A Northern California elementary school teacher sent her students home for the summer with a video of class memories, only the DVD included six seconds of her having sex on a couch.
Officials at the Elk Grove Unified School District asked families of the teacher's 24 students to get rid of the DVD after the unintended clip was found spliced in a scene where children were sharing stories in class.
"Just destroy them," said spokeswoman Torrey Johnson.
Johnson said the teacher, Crystal Defanti, sent the DVD home with her students from Isabelle Jackson Elementary on the last day of class Friday. She learned of the mistake after a parent called her. She then called all the parents to ask them to destroy the DVD.
The school district, located just south of Sacramento, initially sent a letter home to parents asking them to return the DVDs, but then asked parents to simply destroy them.
Yeah I'm sure they were all destroyed....

I suppose I am just an old prude but I simply don't understand why someone would have a video of one's self having sex (and on a couch no less) in the first place. Unless maybe it is to save it for posterity for when they are much older, a bit senile, no longer enjoying marital (or unmarried or extra-marital) sex at all and want to refresh their memory then.
And just how does one go about video-taping one's self in that act in the first place? Does that indicate perhaps a threesome -or more? Just crazy, absurd and whatever else you can think of to call it.
I suppose if you video yourself having sex, it might be possible you are an exhibitionist to some degree. Perhaps the teacher wasn't all that embarrassed about it.

I think she wanted shock value and went for it.
If she had to splice scenes of a video together, that means she had to do at least some editing of the video she put on the dvd since it was class memories through the year. No way she missed that when she did the final review of the video as a whole.

Let's see-----you wouldn't buy a NEW 1.99 cent-T160 DVD tape to make as the original, to send copies home from and view it first......I'm sorry, I'm sure I'm just missing something. Sex a natural thing children need to see to understand. I don't understand the outrage when we teach our children natural acts but have no problems shoving the justifications of oppression and racism down they throats and help develop future haters and discriminators of justice. You people need to open you minds.

Luther, I never saw anyone else having sex before I did and I think I understand it just fine. Part of education is called discovery learning for a reason. ;)
That being said, I think she probably had someone else make the videos for her and they sabotaged them. She's a dumb-bunny for not previewing.
I think the teacher should be fired. As a parent, I would not want a teacher who allows herself to be videotaped having sex, teaching any grade - even college. She has no sense at all and probably is a poor to average teacher.
Just so you folks know, ole Luther James Spells is a convicted rapist and murderer. He's currently serving time in prison, which for whatever reason supplies him with internet access. So, just consider the source.
