Correction and retraction

Hello,
Cyclone Power Technologies and Robotic Technology Inc are partnering to create a robot that can forage for its own "food" - fuel to run on. Unfortunately this week, some media outlets have incorrectly stated this week that the robot will feed on dead bodies for fuel.

The truth is, this robot will be a strict vegetarian. This is a cutting-edge project that has tremendous potential for reconnaissance, surveillance and other military/security applications.

If you'd like to learn more about Cyclone Power Technologies and its lineup of modern-day steam engines that can power anything from weed whackers to locomotives, please let me know.

hammer...once again I thank you for providing public service announcements which make my life more enriched and safer. I was so dreading the thought of being chow for a robot!
Thank you! Thank you!
Now go and make it a good day!

Well I am disappointed. I was looking forward to being hunted by terminator machines after the Obama effect destroyed civilization. You got to admit that a man eating robot sounded eerily possible.

I liked the robot better when I thought it was a carnivore. Now it's nothing but an annoyingly smug vegetarian.

Disclaimer: Not all vegetarians are annoyingly smug.

i`ve never met a vegetarian that wasn`t annoyingly smug....and i don`t know any rabbits.

i did have the beginnings of a conversation with an old girlfriend of my brother once....until she got tired and had to rest for a moment or two then forgot what she was trying to say.

something about killing living creatures being unethical i think....

...and it`s hard to be scared of a robot that looks like ed begley jnr. and talks like jeradine gerafalo.

i wonder if they`ll have an al franken model?

Will my chicken wire fence be enough to keep it out of the peppers and tomatoes, or will I need some other deterrent, or decoy, to keep it from eating the garden?

It's a hassle already keeping the birds from eating the starters, the vermin from eating the veggies, and the feral cats from using it as their litter box and digging up my nice rows. Now, robots too.

I've heard of building a better mouse trap, but a better mouse??? Sheesh.
