Bucket list meme

Just John over at Write on the right has tagged me for the bucket list meme.
If you had only a short time to live and money was no object what would you do?
This is a tough one for me because my tastes are pretty simple and I did enough crazy stuff when I was younger... but here goes:
1. Bull Riding. I ain't afraid of no stupid cow and I haven't eaten any of his brothers and sisters for 30 years so I figure he might cut me some slack.
2. Skydiving. I've been meaning to go but it's just one of those I haven't gotten around to. I'm figuring it would be kind of like the dog with the head out the window thing.
3. Demolition derby. It's always been a dream of mine to slam some giant 1970's jalopy into another car without my insurance premiums going up.
4. Be completely brutally honest for one whole day. (I would probably save that for my last day.)
5. Go scuba diving. I'm not a great swimmer but what the hell is there to fear at this point?
That's about all I can think of.
If you want to do this one let me know and I'll go look at your list.

Pretty interesting list. I have some desire to scuba dive myself, but that desire is tempered by the thought of the critters that I've pulled out of the ocean with a fishing rod...
Love #4. That's certainly something to aspire to.
i just don't see jumping out of a perfectly good plane
hmmm..short time to live with mad amounts of fundage...
Id move to ITALY and LIVE IT UP. Id drink all the wine and eat all the pasta and sauce I could fit in my tummy.
Oh and set up financial security for my sons future.
I would love to be a fly on your wall for the brutally honest day! What I would give! LOL
Great list Hammer... oh and that "they be stealin' my bucket" picture is hilarious !!
I have always thought I would like scuba diving.
Those pics are amazing. I'm pretty ignorant of animals, what is that thing? Is it a walrus? It's HUGE.
So said. Let him have his bucket! And erm, good luck with that bull caring that you don't eat meat when you're straddling him. Hee.
Skydiving~~ been there...
Demolition derby~~ call me with the date and time!!!!!
Skydiving and scuba diving...they're both nuts!
I love that this is a no-holds-barred list. And why not? If the end is near, you SHOULD do everything you never had the time, money or guts to do!
Hammer, I had a scuba accident that no one"s survived before, according to my scuba diving md. Wouldn't recommend it.
I'd be torn between working for a charity or hanging out on a beach waiting for the end.
Those are pretty cool. Good idea on #4. Save till last. Mine would be to do stuff just like that, but with the folks I love. That would be too cool. I think I'd have to be dying to get then to do it though.
Take all the people that have pissed me off with me when I go...
I'm gunna do this on my blog...
Those things are all a bit extreme - it's funny how we all desire to do 'extreme' things, but most of us don't because we fear for our lives, and also want to be around for our kids I guess.
Good things to do with not much time left!!!
I am right with ya on Number 3. I have always wanted drive in a demo derby. Cheers!!
The only one of these that I have any interest in doing is skydiving. But, you're going to be one busy fellow.
Oh, and tell us more about the crazy stuff you did when you were younger!
I'd drink myself into oblivion before I went to my oblivion.
#3 for sure. I have always wanted to do a demo derby. Brutal honesty would definitely deter some people from attending the funeral.
random fact: the LOLrus you have pics of just died like a few months ago. real sad shit. he was a funny bucketfucker
Sky diving - been there. It's actually very quiet after the chute opens (and the screaming stops).
Scuba diving - been there a bunch of times. Fun.
Demolition derby - been there, too. (It was charity deal.) Do it near the end because you'll get beat up by the car, and you'll probably have a helluva whiplash and headache afterwards, too.
Bull riding - no thanks. Although we used to ride dairy cows when I was a kid, they don't do much to remove you from their back.
Brutal honesty - let me know which day you're going to do this so I can stay home.
I agree with you on the brutually honest thing going on, on your last day.. Bull riding yikes. Good luck if you try sometime..
that second photo still cracks me up.
I've done brutaly honest before... it was like an intervention. Not fun.
I agree with the demolitan derby...sounds totally cool..lmao.
