Hammer #12 Cheech and Chong retrospective
When I was a kid my dad would take me to see Cheech and Chong movies. The only rule was "don't tell your mother"...no problem there. I didn't really understand the drug refrences but I thought these guys were funny as hell.
Here is a tribute
Cheech and Chong retrospective.

"When I was a kid my dad would take me to see Cheech and Chong movies."
Okaaaaayyy.
That explains a lot.
Hammer cheech and Chong? I love you. You are my hero now.
I always remember the scene in "Nice Dreams" where Cheech is pretending to swim on top of a ladder in a fake swimming pool! Love it!
We loved Cheech and Chong but we didn't get to hear much. Not sure why.
me and my Dad's thing was to watch Wonderwoman together (I was about 6 or 7).
I think my Mom must have been pulling her waitressing shift at JoJo's.
I am pretty sure she would not have approved. It was our show.
I still love WonderWoman.
BBC: uhm ok
snowmanpoop: Cool another fan :)
mushy: those guys had great improv and sight gags.
jeannie: I've got a couple albums but mostly I saw their movies.
infini: Yep Lynda Carter She was yummy :)
...takes me back.
My older brother and I saw them together. It was something we loved to do after the first one, Up In Smoke was such a riot for us.
I dimly remember getting high and going to see "Up in Smoke". I'll have to get the video/DVD if it exists.
jp: I saw up in smoke when I was 9 years old and had rigged the cable TV to get cinemax without the weird scrambling.
jam: all those movies were a riot I saw one the other night and couldn't stop laughing.
janet: I think they're available, and still funny as ever.
A classic duo.
My wife met Cheech Marin a few years ago at the Sundance Film Festival, she said he was quite shy, spoke with no accent, and was one of the most polite people she had ever met.
I was just looking on ebay for a lot of C&C movies.
bobg: Cheech used to do commercials for the restaurant chain I worked for. Everyone says he is the most down to earth person you'd ever want to meet.
carrie: My favorite is "next movie"
I too thought they were hilarious!! I'm pretty sure we used to listen to them on record though??? I MUST have seen them on film, but ? I seem to recall just listening to them....I might get a dvd of them out sometime soon.
Lynda Carter? I thought you said you liked "full figured women" ????
kb: I thought she was...full up top and full on bottom. :) Maybe it means something else and I'm not saying it right.
Finally got to watch it. Looks good hammer. Did you hear anything about them doing another movie?
Oh, I get it! I thought by 'full-figured' you meant a size 14-16 - 'rounded', womanly, something to hold onto....fat....NAH!! Just kidding, went a bit too far with that......maybe you mean 'hourglass'??
I'll never forget the first time I listened to the wedding album. "Let go of my hand!" Loved thos movies in high school. Midnight movie bliss.
carrie: I've heard rumors but I recommend chongs video blog on youtube. He is great.
KB Hourglass, thats it :)
FHB: Indeed and they hold up well these days too.
