Interesting insights
It's a really good post. Sadly, it's all the kind of advice that will only be heard by the people who least need it. That's something I've discovered about good advice over the years... the right people never pay attention.
I don't really have anything to add about relationships. Moonwolf and I manage to stay together without plotting each other's deaths, and without each of us worshipping the ground the other walks on. We did have an electrifying kiss once, though, if that counts for anything! (Winter... static electricity... lips touching...)
And why did I comment here instead of over there? Because I'm too shy to comment on a blog I don't usually read. I'll start reading it, and then I'll comment there the next time you get asked to do a guest post.
Thanks phoenix, I learned a bunch of stuff about relationships by making my own mistakes and especially by watching others.
I don't figure someone dead set on a path of self destruction can change their life unless they are looking.
But I figure sometimes if someone reads it it might plant a seed that will grow into something later.
My dad always tells me not to cast pearls to swine. However,as far as the blogosphere goes you never know who might read a post and get something out of it.
I read your guest post the other day Hammer...Great Stuff! I've learned a lot about relationship in my years, but I feel there is soooo much more to learn.
Mankind in general has a lot more to learn. The evolution of love seems to be going backwards to me. Relationships seem to be getting harder and harder to maintain.
At least I have the most wonderful woman in the world living right next door to me. And of course I compare all others to her. Maybe it isn't fair of me, but it helps keep me from making mistakes with others that show interest in me.
hammer My dad always tells me not to cast pearls to swine. However,as far as the blogosphere goes you never know who might read a post and get something out of it. very interesting concept of blogging. I agree with it though. Like i said to someone once, it's interesting which posts will strike a cord with someone. Sometimes I post something thinking no one will respond to this & it gets lots of response.
Phoenix Ravenflame please don't wait until hammer does another guest blog to comment. I'd love to have you comment on my blog anytime. :)
Look at you branching out...branchy mcbrancherson. I'll head over and read.
Steve~
